DIN 2448 ST35 Seamless Pipe supplier

DIN 2448 is a standard that gives specifications for seamless carbon steel pipes and tubes including conventional masses per unit length,  dimensions, couplings in addition to weights. Replaced by EN 10210, the DIN 2448 Seamless Steel Tubes could be hot formed either with or minus the consequent heat treatment. Or these hollow pipes could be cold formed with the use of a subsequent heat treatment process in order to achieve metallurgical conditions equivalent to those components as those seen amongst hot formed products.

DIN 2448 Seamless Steel tubes

The form of both DIN 2448 Seamless and welded steel pipes could be either rectangle, square, elliptical or circular, depending on the order placed by the manufacturer. One of the materials used to produce pipes according to this standard is ST52. This material is a low alloy structural steel grade, which exhibits high strength. The material used to make Din 2448 ST52.3 steel pipe could be easily welded to other grades of weldable steel. Grades that have a capital letter S in their designation such as in DIN 2448 ST 52 Pipe, are considered to be well suited for applications involving structural applications. To improve the corrosion resistance property of the material, a buyer can choose to order a zinc galvanized version of ASME B36.1M Din 2448 seamless hot rolled steel tubes. A thick layer of zinc protects the material from atmospheric corrosion. The manufacturer is permitted to remove surface defects by the use of a grinding process. However, the thickness of the DIN 2448 EN 10210 Steel Pipe must not be lesser than the minimum allowable thickness keeping in accordance to standard EN 10210-2
